The 2025 Glowflare Short Film Festival nominations have been announced. Taking place on January 25th at Parkway Cinemas, Beverley, the festival features over 40 submissions, showcasing global creativity. Notable nominees include As We Fall Silent and Gretchen with 7 nominations each.
Festival Director Daniel Smales shares an update: “Over 40 incredible films have been selected for our inaugural festival! This lineup celebrates a diverse range of voices and visions, showcasing extraordinary creativity. While this year’s event is limited to one day, we’re excited to expand in 2026. Submissions reopen on new years day!”
An extraordinary lineup of films will screen at Parkway Cinemas on Saturday, January 25, 2025, showcasing a dazzling array of talent and genres. With festival passes at just £20, attendees can enjoy screenings, Q&A sessions, and an immersive awards ceremony. Award nominations drop January 6. Stay tuned for updates!
Final submission deadline for the festival is December 13, 2024. Submit your film before fees increase. Rates: £15.00 standard, £12.50 for students/Gold members. After this date, our submissions close for the 2025 event. Submit through FilmFreeway and visit our website for full guidelines. All short film categories are welcome.
