We are excited to announce that submissions for our inaugural event, scheduled for January 2025, are now officially open. Filmmakers from across the globe are invited to submit their short films through FilmFreeway, the leading online platform for film festival submissions. Our festival, led by Hull-based filmmaker Daniel Smales, promises to be a new beacon for creativity in the UK short film festival circuit.

Deadlines and Fees
Submissions are open in tiered phases, with increasing fees as the deadlines approach:
- Earlybird Deadline: 6th September 2024 – £7.50 Standard / £5.00 Student & Gold
- Normal Deadline: 11th October 2024 – £10.00 Standard / £7.50 Student & Gold
- Late Deadline: 15th November 2024 – £12.50 Standard / £10.00 Student & Gold
- Extended Deadline: 13th December 2024 – £15.00 Standard / £12.50 Student & Gold
We encourage filmmakers to submit early to benefit from reduced fees.
Selection Process
Once submitted, films will be reviewed by a diverse panel consisting of industry professionals and passionate film enthusiasts. Our commitment to transparency ensures that each film receives equal consideration, with every selection team member providing feedback and a final score. Films with the highest scores will be selected for inclusion in the festival, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation process.
